I personally find it highly amusing that PG&E has used the electricity money to fund its campaign against rate decreases. And that nice election oriented rebate. And their massive amount of spending (when compared to the limitations placed on the Not-For-Profit SMUD). And the Arguable lies and definite mis-truths in their campaign. But hey, Its politics as usual. When you look at it from an ideological standpoint, I understand, but imo this is a case where the government has become more efficient than private business.

ASUCD looks kind of silly now. My resolution on Measure K that failed EAC passed!!!! and the SMUD resolution that passed ASUCD Senate so easily, failed! Well I voted for SMUD because of my selfish capitalist desire to pay less on my bills, and I think supporting the coporate empire which is Target has redeemed myself. And Max, remember that the CDP will not stand for Communism in ASUCD.

You filthy communist ;)

Actually seeing the Aggie article about it explain how the idea actually CAME from the cities to try to seduce SMUD into coming, now I'm leaning away from "the cities did a fair calculation" and towards "vast communist conspiracy" =D
