AMPAC 2006 (finally)
   Returning from Vegas about a week and a half ago, I worked for a day, then there was the first day of school, and then I flew down to LA for the AMPAC 2006 Model UN conference

You wouldn't happen to be doing the PAXMUN in San Diego weekend after next, would you? I'm going to be a delegate there in some committee or other.

Should be interesting if the social is actually FUN. That'd be a first. =P

I'll be representing Tanzinia in UNEP.

Our SG just told us today that position papers are due on Friday! So, that should be fun... Do you know what format they are looking for specifically?

Helipad + Incident?

On Monday April 3rd, you said:
"This weekend my friend Mara & I discovered a series of secret passageways, which led us to a helipad on the 13th floor of a building in downtown Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter, however, we were cornered by secret service."
In this post, though, its:
"We then retraced our steps triumphantly & without incident."

Clarify/Contradiction?

Yeah that was an intentionally misleading sentence to drama things up:

"shortly thereafter" refers in fact to the following day, when the Secret Service sealed off the hallway leading to our committee room for about ten minutes.

I never previously read this account of that trip.

I am not sure I like the small tree comparison; I think it tends to dilute the immensity of my accomplishment!
