I used to really hate the Monty Hall Problem and think the "correct" answer was totally wrong. I suspected that perhaps this was just because I didn't understand probability theory well enough. Then I took a class in probability theory. Now I understand the Monty Hall Problem, but I still hate it. I know why the "correct" answer is in fact correct, but I just can't stand the fact that I live in a universe where something that repulsive could actually be true.

It seems that the guy was asking more about the particular behavior of the bees, such as "considering that you are killing them, do they fly around risking death because they hope to save the queen by doing so?" or "Why don't the bees just fly away? Is it because there is a queen there and bees don't abandon their queen?"
