   I swear I nearly froze to death last night, with temperatures dipping near fifty again while I'm up trying to write a paper. Finally help came just in time... in time to turn the water off while I was in the shower

yeah, norcal weather sucks. our windows tend to stick when i try to close it, and i've never been able to fully close it... not to mention i have a bed right underneath it. why migrate north for these 30 degree nights?

and I ahve a small corner room where one wall has a large window and another is almost entirely taken up by a glass sliding door -- both of which conduct the cold from the fields across the street from me right into my room. O=
