what an amazing night! i got to meet one of beth's friends named lindsay cohen and she is incredibly cute! she's the first person i've met ever that is excited and optimistic about everything in life, I MEAN EVERYTHING. it's such a refreshing change to meet someone different from the usual cyncism i'm always stuck with

i'm sorry i wasn't home to answer the call / return it. i had a lot of things to do today. i read your entry and i wish you the best of luck with finding that someone (whether it's for love or not). it'll happen as soon as you want it to happen as long as you don't hold back your feelings or your instincts (as i learned). don't be scared of anything. fear is your enemy when it comes to meeting that significant other. honesty is everything.
