I had a very different experience -- I always held my self harm close and loved it. It took a lot of years to realize that maybe I was the one seeing it wrong, that maybe it wasn't something that is beautiful. Unfortunately I still would never take any of it back. :/

I'm always so hopeful after hearing that people have quit for that long. You give me hope. Stay strong, hon <3

any addictiction is hard to break, one month is great. That's ab how long ago I quit drinking. Talk to your friends and read advice sites online. Find other things to do than cut, like the rubber band snap thing, or carve up styrofoam. You can do it!
