Just (re?)read the whole series. Wow. Schue... you're clueless. That whole sleeping situation bugged me like crazy anyhow (many choir trips in high school. Four to a room, max.) But this is just heartbreaking. Poor Kurt.

I've actually had worse sleeping arrangements -- as an exchange student in NZ eight of us (co-ed Year 13) were in one room. We got up to a whole lotta no good lol. But I also went on tour with my high school's dance club in Canada where it was four to a room max.

I remember reading the first fic in this series, but didn't know you'd written a sequel until I saw you post this fic on the angst meme. I've just read all three of them and had my heart thoroughly broken. :( You do a wonderful job of handling Kurt's recovery, and how hard it is, and how it sneaks back up on him at the worst of times, like this trip to NYC. I want to be angry at Will, because he's being so clueless and oblivious, but he's always like that and Kurt's right that if Will knew the real reason, he'd let Kurt move to the girls room in a heartbeat. Kurt's also right that he shouldn't have to tell Will anything. *sigh* I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of this prompt.

I'm really glad you think I'm doing good with his recovery -- it's such a convoluted and subjective matter that I find it hard to personalize it for Kurt as a character. So it's a big compliment. ♥

I love that you incorporated this prompt to continue this storyline. The way you wrote Kurt's build up of anxiety and barely controlled panic was so affecting I felt myself getting progressively tenser as I continued reading. And even though Schue doesn't know the entire situation and Kurt can be a damn fine actor, I just want to slap Schue. Like, so bad! This is a wonderful continuation and I love seeing Kurt's struggle to come to terms and try to overcome what happened. Can't wait for the conclusion.
