I don't quite know whether to laugh or cry, I'm stuck somewhere in between. I'd like to be able to breathe though.

Yep, all kinds of awesome. I've seen it twice now, and it only gets better.

I adored the first episode in particular...everything about the way they did it was just so bloody spot on...the Jack/Jack thing actually hurt...twas hot, but hurty too.

I adored Tosh throughout the whole thing.

Ianto was by far the best character. What was a passing interest I think is now full on fangirl love. It was like "ha, not just the tea-boy." He & Owen trading insults and blows...I don't know what it was about the power play, but I was glued. Also - the kiss!! OMG! I think my neighbours heard the squee. Twice.

Jack was hot, as ever. The new series of Dr Who is going to be very interesting now.

Sorry for the short essay, hon. Nice to have you back, because I haven't said that yet!

I'm surprised my housemates didn't hear my squeeing, or my laughing, or my crying...

DW is going to be awesome - I will cry if it's not.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again -- I squee'd so hard when I heard the TARDIS start to materialize that it scared my poor cat that was sitting next to me at the time. The look on Jack's face when he realized what was happening? Pure JOY ( ... )

Ianto is hardcore when he needs to be. - I love Ianto... and this just made me love him more.

Here's praying for less Rhys-ass in s2. - here here! 'Cause really, when there's so many other pretty arses to choose from... we get Rhys?!?!

Jack and the Doctor? It's going to be so good. I can't decide if I want Jack to snog his face off or deck him first.

Do we know the start date for the new DW series?

TV.com seems to think it'll be April 1st. But I haven't seen anything official. I wonder if Outpost Gallifrey has it up anywhere.

Owen - I had some serious hate going on for the boy at certain points tonight. He hurt Ianto. He killed Jack. He opened the rift up. He left. But Jack forgave him.

I hated him too. But Jack's forgiveness made it okay.

Makes me think that Ianto has a lot more power than Owen, or any of the others (apart from Jack) realise.

Ianto is magnificent.

The horned guy, the horned guy from TIP's little brother?

Evil twin? Maybe it's just the same species of ancient evil entity.

Gwen ... I think she's in love with Rhys and Jack.

I, too, loved that scene. Tender was definitely the word.
