African American month is so frustrating. Not to sound racist, but I don't owe anything to anyone, including the black people who think I do. I totally agree, Vicky. And the first speaker really got to me. I was spanked as a child, so don't tell me that it's fine that they want to take over the school. And he tries to justify their discrimination of us? Fuck no. Pardon my french, but saying that "it's alright for the new guy to hold back the new guy so he can catch up with getting gold in a barrel."

Bullshit. Discrimination and racism is a two-way door. And today irked me so.

i COMPLETELY agree. i thought it was gunna be some awesome thing about his experience w/ martin luther king jr., not some ignoranr guy pissing and moaning about not wanting to be labled b/c of his skin color when he hypocritically did the same thing. and he acted as though we were completely stupid, and that we were ganging up on different races, or we didnt understand his kind of people. his kind of people? what the hell? i mean i have compation for you, really, its horrible what some people did, but come on! its 2005! i dont need to be preached to about treating people eqaully. its common knowledge.

I totally agree with everything. Especially the 80% thing. I mean, if they want respect...and if they want to "fill their wagon", they are not on the right track.
