This is fascinating! I never thought much about the long-term mechanics of the hive, or of the bees themselves, who know when it's time to move on.

I was glad to see you playing; I always really enjoy your stuff. You manage to make somewhat dry subject matter fascinating, and I'm always surprised by how much there is to learn about bees!

Thanks! As I was writing this I had the thought that hey I'm writing about the finer points of beeswax, if I can make this actually interesting to this audience of non-beekeepers that will be an accomplishment!
