Sunday, July 2nd - The Buffalo airport at 8:30 on a Sunday morning was very quiet, it seemed to be just the passengers from our flight walking through the terminals and a few airport staff. Out by the curb I seemed to be the only one out there. Called my dad, who was already waiting at the cell phone notification parking lot and he showed up ( Read more... )

In the UK there is lemonade which is basically like Sprite or 7up but tastes a bit different from either. You can get lemonade made with lemons too, not so widely as in North America but you can find it, usually called still or cloudy lemonade. They sell bottles of it in Marks and Spencer for example (I liked their lemonade). You don't see it much in Germany either, I can't remember when I last did. There is a word Limonade which is basically used for any soda here, which confused me at first when my husband got this herbal 'Limonade', I thought from the name it would have lemon flavour, but it was rather medicinal - they like woodruff flavour here, which you basically have to be German to like.

Yeah it's so weird to me that lemonade is literally SO EASY to make - like literally my mom just makes it on the fly at restaurants that have free water, lemon slices and sugar packets ahahaha - and yet its apparently a Very American thing that they don't DO in other places.

I would think because tropical fruit is pretty available in Aussie they would use it in a lot of drinks. I know they like to use it in desserts.

I won't wear red baseball caps anymore because I don't want anyone to think I'm a trumpazoid.

Use lemonade? o_O

Yeah there's a few different formerly innocuous things the Trumpists have ruined.

I always laugh at what other countries call lemonade because it's inevitably what we call Sprite or 7-Up.

You look happy! And I love the "Have you seen my childhood" parts.
I hope your new flight arrangements work!
