August 6th, day 15 - started the day at a leisurely pace in Mamou town. For once didn't have to visit anyone's relatives but we (only Bialo, Ibro and i now) did stop to buy something in the town market. Wow! Finally a nice hotel. I think your trip around Guinea is a lot of fun, although you're sitting in the back of a car for most of it.

Indian-style shower! But no bucket; in India, there would be a bucket so you could wet-soap-rinse without leaving the water running.

Sounds like a nice, relaxing day.

Wow that’s a huge leaf! I’d feel weird showering in a bathroom that’s so open like that, but at least it sounds like the mirror is at my level (I’m just 5’ tall), lol!

Are Americans the only people who build enclosed showers? So many places we've traveled, they have those hand-held things, which are great but require some doing to keep water from going everywhere. The "castle" we where we stayed in Ireland was like the bathroom in your photo, with nothing to keep the whole room from flooding.

Yeah i dunno but i hate non enclosed showers. It seems common in hotels here in Africa. I hate getting the whole bathroom wet!
