I love Greek mythology but how did they get turkey? Did Jason have some Mayan friends?

Oh shit, you know it didn't occur to me that turkeys are native to the Americas. Ii figured they have bush turkeys here in Australia, they have them in America, they must be everywhere. I did ask my Turkish friend if Turkeys were native there but she didn't know, but I didn't get so far as to the simple task of looking it up on wikipedia lol :-[] I was going for a play on that he (A) wanted to eat a bird to sort of get back at the birds and (B) being in possession of complete knowledge of the future he knows the land they're on will eventually become the nation of Turkey so, yeah. But damn I guess I need to change it now.

I did really enjoy the story, though, it was a fun read.
