Yesterday, Saturday February 15th - We didn't really have a plan other than to go to the historic sheep station just outside of Birregurra in the morning for coffee and a scone, and it turned into a day long adventure (a good one) though we never got our scone

Wow how cool.

There seems to be a sub-population in the US who similarly don't want to be identified with the environmentalists because it sounds too pro-regulation, but who have been doing these things just because they're the right thing to do.

I'm a beer snob too but I do like white wine with veggie pizza; I picked that up from a friend of mine from Italy, she says that there they almost always drink wine with pizza instead of beer or soda.
