So happy for you! Do you think you will get married in DR? I know some people I worked with in the UK got married there so they don’t seem to mind if you’re not resident?

Yeah I think it's likely we'll get married there. We need a place where all my friends and family and her friends and family can go and that rules out the US, Venezuela, and Australia... Ii tihnk this hotel we stayed at would be a good place for it!

Casa Coson sounds amazing, I can imagine you’d want to go back there! It seemed like it was kind of a common thing to go to DR to get married so I suppose it’s relatively easy to organise, though I don’t know for sure. Certainly my coworkers had never been there and spoke no Spanish but they seemed not to have any problems. I am sure it would be that much easier for you guys what with having been there and having contacts. I really hope it all works out for you both!
