Venezuela is a mess and if only for a better life for Venezuelans and normalized international relations, I hope Maduro steps down. I was hoping Cristina was ok and in a safe place so thanks for letting us know she is.

He had become the president at honest election as I know it and half of country had voted for him, though pro West opposition could always says it is not true.
If to decide all presidents having protests should dissapear when we have to start from French one, after Trump could leave his post for his secretary, when how is next - the president of Spain?
I have read about the Venezuela after had heard some young fella has declared he is the new president and yes, the economic of Venezuela is on the bottom but who we should blame for it, only the populists or only the western oil businessmen wanting their business back and doing everything to seize the power in rich with oil country? Doesn't it look the same with Iraq, Lybia, Syria?

I was shocked that they've seemingly come up with a very reasonable strategy of simply recognizing the legitimate constitutional figure in Venezuela. and glad Pence made the speech about it because as much as he seems like a religious ogre and least him making a speech seems a lot more serious and intelligent than if Trump had made the speech.
