27 of 30 - Bookshelves

   When Revchad came by my place in Davis (2, 3 years ago?) to consider moving into the spare room he took the opportunity to examine my bookshelf, with the comment that "you can tell a lot about a person by what they have on their bookshelf." A nice collection. Everyone needs Tie Fighter. And Machiavelli.
Somehow the "used" sticker on the American National Security book seems ironic, these days.

I prefer people I spend the time to evaluate to be much more difficult to decipher.

Though if I had a preference, I'd enjoy seeing William Sleator's Interstellar Pig in somebody's prominent display position. I'm weary of always seeing Sartre's Being and Nothingness. Or Diablo Cody.

Kobo Abe runs a close second on that preference list.
