How's your record for being stung by wasps and hornets when you're in their vicinity? Yellow jackets are drawn to me, so I would never intentionally visit them. ;)

I've only been stung by wasps once though. It was funny this weekend, thinking the things under the bridge were bees, and therefore stingless since I think all native bees in this area area, I popped up from around the bridge with my face right in front of them and was like ..."SHIT THOSE ARE WASPS" as they all took off ...... but fortunately didn't sting me!
Incidentally yellow jackets are mentioned in the above entry... they are the mentioned Vespula germanica, known here as "European wasps"

nothing exists man-made that doesn't already exist in nature! and we seem to think we can improve upon it, until we ruin it. duh.
