That was an excellent math distraction!

Really liked the details too "slippery with churned up ice-plant"

As I wrote that I was wondering if people everywhere know what ice plant is or if it might be completely unknown in Minnesota or Europe or a different name in Florida

Def the same name in Florida and across the US. Perhaps not so much in Minnesota, but only because it is not frost hardy heh.

Ice plant really is the most common English name for it and probably more likely to be recognized than Carpobrotus edulis!

And here I was expecting a travelogue entry!

This captures where that fear and panic come from. Hours and hours with a sense that something isn't quite right, then it's CLEARLY not right, and then it's even more bizarre and more prevalent than you could ever have imagined. It would seem as if the whole world had come off its hinges.

Thanks yeah that's what I was going for. And most zombie movies are just slipping this part and going to a static psychological state were everyone is just nonchalantly shooting zombies

Hmm never heard of it, is it good?

Another part of my take on the Coming Zombie Apocalypse is that, unlike the World War Z novels where "mankind wins" and then starts aggressively trying to build the population back up, my "happy ending" is that the population gets reduced by more than 99%... and zombies pretty much disappear, the epidemic having burned itself out.

This was a great zombie story - not post Apocalypse and certainly not pre-Apocalypse, but at that balancing point just as things start to disintegrate. Or, another day in L.A. I enjoyed the work scene as well. You did a great job with this!

Thanks! I hope to continue it at some point (: Not quite sure where exactly it'll go from here. I have lots of ideas where the story will go in general but like the literal next scene I'm not sure about.
