I'm wondering now why honey is treated as contraband. What could possibly be wrong there? Smuggling? Incendiary capabilities? Terrorism based on gumming up mechanics with it? :O
I think it's mainly because it is "a liquid." Of course lots of things are but the Mek'ele area is particularly known for its honey so tourists keep trying to take it out on their carryon. It's find in checked luggage.. legally anyways, I find there's an alarming risk of its container breaking and getting all over everything, has happened to me several times ):

Yeah the time difference is really wacky! And not just like "this is traditionally how they told time" but like I said clocks all over are actually set that way!
