Friday the 27th
Flew into Portland via Seattle on Friday, via Alaska Airlines. Leg from Seattle to Portland was actually Horizon Airlines, who apparently serve complimentary BEER on their flights! And not shitty beer either, it was the Widmer Winter Ale! I was extremely pleased with this!

I have 2 sisters in the Portland area. It's a beautiful place. Last time we were there was 2 years ago for my niece's wedding. We almost moved there, but the job offer didn't go through, so here we stay in Cincinnati, our real home anyway.

Yeah the view out the plane window was really spectacular

Hopefully there'll be hotels and such near the other places we dock. Using a real toilet is much much preferable to the sea head!

Well, we're more closely associated with Mt Rainier because she's in our county and her real name is Tahoma.

But St Helen's IS in our lovely state of Washington so she is one of ours as well. :)

*The best thing about St Helens is that when she gets angry, she usually barfs all over Oregon instead of us :)

Hahaha yes I did. Someone dragged me there last time, after I'd already had about a dozen beers and tried to make me eat a doughnut with bacon on it. Possibly even bacon AND tang. I took one bite and then asked a nearby bum if he wanted the rest (he did).

bacon!? yikes. I wanted to try one of the candy coated dougnuts but my friend insisted on the cock n' balls. It was admittedly pretty good XD

I don't generally like things that are extremely rich, doughnuts are already pushing the limit but then to put bacon on it was way out for me. In related news I think I was really drunk by then too because i'd been barhopping all night and drinking heavily (:
