Oh man, you did it again. I knew what to expect (obviously) but I didn't quite know how ill!Sherlock would turn out. He turned out heartbreakingly real.

As someone from a long-lived family married to someone from a short-lived one I think about this kind of thing rather more than I care to. Everything John thinks here touches a chord deep within me.

Great fiction is a way of experiencing things at one remove - a way of trying out the roads not (yet) traveled. And this is great fiction. Thank you for this - for being so...sensitive and so true.

I can't cry here and now but believe me, I'll be sobbing into my pillow tonight. And it will hurt but it will be cathartic. So thank you.

Dear god. That was almost as heart breaking as the first one but in a different way. The end of the first one was like a punch in the stomach, this is more like an ache.
