Hee! I am totally snagging the "Smile" icon! What a hoot!

My cousin Kathryn (who is sixteen) has the most adorable crush on Hiccup. To the point where she has a picture in her locker. She says all of her friends don't get it. But I understand. ;-)
OMFG I love that movie. How often do you see a stupidly popular kids movie have such amazing themes? I lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove that movie! :)
You only just now got introduced to this? I think this was the first movie my mother sat me down in front of when I got home. She bought the DVD the day it came out--made a special trip for the purpose.
It's just a ridiculously good film. And it has bagpipes. And vikings. And really absolutely awesome flight animation.
And it has bagpipes. And it has a wimpy kid who can't do anything right and suddenly finds he can understand what everybody else has been fighting against for generations . . . and then he has to be the bridge. And it has bagpipes. The characters and plot and humor and animation and special effects and voices are exquisite, too. I'd give it SIX thumbs up . . . if I had six thumbs.
Okay, I just read over this last comment, thinking in bewilderment, "When did I write this? I don't remember this at all. Did I finally take up drinking?" And then I realized that Mum posted this with my log on. So there's that mystery solved.
