Okay, this quick little 1 300 word one-shot was written, again, for the anon meme. What is interesting with this one is that it's the first one that I posted with my own name there. I don't know if the "crickets chirping" -welcome was because of that or because people didn't care about the prompt.

Thanks for the comment. Yep, I think that the number of comments in anon meme depends heavily on how many will take an interest to the prompt and mark it for notification if a fic will be posted. But I still think that I will continue posting there as anon, it's more fun when people don't have expectations based on author name :)

Commenting on anon meme is kind of a new culture, I think. I remember that in bandom anon meme, fics were seldom commented, outside the original poster saying thank you. It had a certain magical feeling; there was a prompt, hanging there all nonchalant, and then bam, there was a fic, like it had materialized from thin air. And there, the prompts by themselves were definitely not commented. Actually, I don't really get the prompt commenting. Either a writer likes the prompt of not. They write or not. People not writing expressing their approval to prompts feels weird to me. Okay, sometimes it's nice, but those three or four serial commentaries, who are all "yay!" to about all prompts, they just clutter the meme.
