Summary: Adam Milligan is not a Winchester, and he is very grateful for this fact. Set post-5.22.

Warnings: SPOILERS for everything aired, really, including 7.23: Survival of the Fittest. Second-person, Adam PoV, total weirdness, metaphor-abuse.

Very good story. I often wonder about Adam. This is a great take on what might have happened to him.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I've always wondered about how Show apparently forgot about Adam, but y'know, it's probably for the best.

Sound, realistic, wicked sad. Adam's got a point with that last. Drama and obsession have a kind of charisma, but it's better to be outside a house on fire.

Ah Adam as some kind of supercharged spirit is an awesome idea - by the end he was coming across to me like some kind of fae creature and fairly unique, so I guess eventually he would have to invent his own morality.

I love this idea so much, I'm now adding it to my personal canon for what has happened to the missing Winchester brother.

Yay, thank you! :D

Adam is rather unique, isn't he? The poor kid had no reason to be stuck in the Cage for all eternity, forgotten, so it's nice to imagine that he got out of the endless loop of Winchester death-and-rebirth.

Personally, too, I have to admit, writing this was rather cathartic.
