Sooooo, we ARE using the word, "boyfriend" yep, yep, we are. Wow, I still don't like the way that looks in print, but let me explain to your readers....Michael, I call him "Mick," and I spell it "Mic" are using the word, and each time it makes me blush. We live so far apart that I can't really be "there" for him all the time, but I am here for him all the time. We are not engaged, we are not going steady, yet, but I sure do love him a lot. I know he loves me. I am uncomfortable with the idea of the "step" that we have taken, as the words just don't convey to others how I feel or what we manage and negotiate together. I think I tripped over the "step" more than took it. I just couldn't help it. I was looking at this magnificent man and listening to his heart and I tripped over the "step" and found that I have fallen in love. Now, for the future....that is our business and we are working it out. For the gossips, well, you can quote me and you can quote Mic and anything else is just gossip. I just read this and it looks non-committal,

What he said *grins* Though I think I may have a different definition of 'going steady' - but frankly I find that phrase kinda... silly. 'Going steady' goes with 'first base' and such 'high-school'-esque terms.
So I'll happily take Buck as a boyfriend than as a 'going-steady' person.
