The Dresden Files fic intrigues me but I've only watched the TV show so I'm hesitant to read it. Perhaps when I start reading the books I'll read it:)

And you'll have to tell me how the TV show is since I've only seen one episode and, apart from finding his vaguely washed-up look a little more interesting, I know nothing about it. If the fandom was made for me there would be mostly fics about secondary characters like Charity, Luccio, Molly, Murphy and occasionally Harry's pets. ;) I really love a lot of the background people.

Here's a good first case fic for Harry and Murphy from the bookverse. There's nothing in there that should throw you with what you already know.
