D*Con summary

This is so long overdue in my own mind that I'm just going to keep it simple: I had a fantastic time. I loved meeting all of you who were there, and the whole thing felt like an entirely normal yet insane group of people having one giant celebration together. I've used the word "highlight" way too many times in regard to D*C, but meeting you was definitely a major highlight. :D Even if it means I'll never watch Friday Night Lights in the same way again. <3 And thanks so much for the prints! Cally says hi.

So, many people had mentioned how the combined awesomeness of Ben Browder and Claudia Black fails description, but I don't think I actually believed it until I saw them with Virgina Hey and Lani Tupu. Best. Panel. Ever.

Am kicking myself for not going with you guys instead of going to the finale fail panel of sexist fail. Hello, my name is frolicndetour, and I'm a wankaholic...

YOU TOO. Seriously, <3. The con experience without you would have not been nearly as good. You are most welcome for the prints. :D

*cough* Another thing on my to do list once season 2 wears me down enough that I'm more willing to be all critical about this show that I love.

Er, youtube on that panel eventually? Because it is worth it, though if you suddenly become a spoiler-phobe for the show I wouldn't. And hey, you caught them at that second one which was equally hilarious just for them.

It was great. I hope it's possible for you to make the next one, I think you'd love it.

but I did want to say that, while I felt completely isolated during the crowd cheer for neck-snappage, it was my impression that it was more a large, gross minority instead of everybody but me and a few other sane people

That would make me feel better, if so. I just... I was so stunned that people were cheering.

I'm...honestly kind of clinging to this. It's just hard to judge who was pissed by who doesn't cheer, y'know? That anybody would, though....gah.
