Braddock Fest: Day 1.

Last night was fucking awesome. We put on a 5 band show at Dave's house, so all the furniture got moved out, and his front wall was opened up (he lives in a converted garage). There was a BBQ outside that set the table it was standing on on fire at one point, which was pretty hilarious as no one knew what to do and just stood there looking at it

Sounds amazing! I haven't been to a decent gig for ages, I quite a bit panicky and paranoid in big crowds and dislike being shoved; I also get a lot of back pain standing up for so long, but if the band is amazing I don't care. Glad you had fun. :)

yeah last night was wonderful and totally worth the trip. I was terrified it was going to be socially horrible/I was gonna be an emotional wreck, and parts of it were, and I was, but it still was an amazing time all around.

I hope Lady's doing all right! it was lovely seeing you. plus, I didn't get the knitting needles. we are so bad at this.

i feel the same way about this show and i'm really glad i got to spend a little bit of time with you although i wish it could have been much more! i'm really sorry about all the stuff with lady, and hope she/you are doing okay.
