Huzzah! Update! And apparently ending, but poignant and suitable, nonetheless.
I quite enjoyed the depiction of Quinn following losing the sum of her existence up until this point. Most people don't seem to grasp just how big a shock that is, no matter how old you are. It's not something that you get over in a day. And it really doesn't matter how bigoted and asinine your parents are, they're still your parents and it hurts being told they don't love you, don't want you, because of something you have no control over - who you love. And when you're hurting, you don't always think about the people around you catching the backlash, no matter how much you may care for and love them. Brava for displaying that so eloquently

Okay I don't know when everyone decided this was the end and didn't notify me about it... but I have more in store for these two :) Can I just say how much I love your comments? Seriously, I admittedly "huzzah" when I see them :) I literally cannot thank you enough. Thank you seems like such a meager way to say how much your comments mean to me because honestly, it shocks me every time you compliment me like this. It makes my day, frankly. So thanks again, and I look forward to your next comment :)
Oh ho, so it's not the end! Excelsior! Now that makes me entirely happy. :)
I'm quite okay with being the cause of "huzzah"s. They're fun after all. ;)
And I like complimenting people, but trust when I say I refuse to give compliments unless they're deserved. You deserve 'em, no worries. :) You're very much welcome and I look forward to your next chapter!
p.s. Sorry, can't. Might be approaching an impossibility. ;)
I have read so many Fan Fics now based on Rachel and Quinn, Stories full of love, hurt, sorrow and the most hated Angst that one hurts me the most. . For the most part following the dialog and characters created by the writer of Glee. School bullying that occurs regularly and is continually ignored by teachers, the principal, hell even parents never do anything to stop it. That in it self isn’t real, However the attitude of homophobic assholes, Abusive parents is real, so when I read about Quinn’s childhood and how her own parents treated her I can believe all of it. I understand why Quinn treated Rachel the way she did, why Quinn acts they way she does even as she grew up. Although I feel pity for Quinn, it doesn’t come close how much sorrow I feel for Rachel to have survived with her head held high all the years of cruel words, friendless peers, a victim of pranks and jokes , It just makes me want to be her friend to scream at the bullies, to take Rachel far away from all of them
( ... )
I hate that you can relate to Rachel's pain and I am truly sorry that you have had to experience anything the characters I have written/glee has written have experienced. No one deserves that. Ever. I cannot thank you enough. Really, thank you so much for continuing to read and comment and everything. You are an amazing friend. Don't forget. Thank you :)
SATs! I remember the day I took those (way too many) years ago to this day. Nerveracking.
Anyway, is this the end???
If it is, I have enjoyed it a lot. I'm so glad they've found their way together.
I really liked the parallel with the Berry dads and Faberry in this chapter. Really great idea. And, I really, really loved Quinn's speech at the end. Really nice!
EW SATS. Seriously, they are gross and yes, nerve-wracking.
Nope, not the end. I really do not know where everyone is getting this idea that this was the end. Trust me, you'd know if this was the end. I wouldn't just flat out end it.
Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed it. As I've said above, thank you will never really amount to how much I appreciate your kind words. So...thanks :)
I'm very relieved it's not the end. I didn't really think it was. I just saw other comments that made it seem that way. I thought I had missed something.
Yes, I would have given some sort of warning if this was the end. And there will be much much MUCH more closure as well. I couldn't just leave it open-ended, you know?
I'm excited that you're looking forward to more! I certainly am :)
