I'm oddly cranky--I think the series of nights and days out are getting to me and I really just need a quiet day of cutting up raspberry canes and, I don't know, maybe doing some laundry; that's pretty much the plan for tomorrow, anyway, and I hope it will do the trick

My favorite pie at the Snohomish pie place is the chocolate-pecan, warmed, ala mode. Finest kind. Did you get off the main drag at all and over a few blocks to UpperCase Books? A very serviceable used bookstore.
