Why in the frig is the grass being mowed in the rain?

It's friggin' October, Does anybody give a shit what the grass looks like at this point? D: So annoyingggggg. I'm trying to do homework. @__@

...I could swear someone told me once that mowing the grass in the rain being stupid. Something about the grass clumping on the blade, causing the motor to burn out, I think. Unless I'm crazy.
