This fic was written as my main Yuletide assignment for recipient topaz_eyes as part of the 2010 Yuletide challenge. The request included a lot of options of people to put together in the story so I tried to, in small ways, include all of them. Thus there being moments in the fic that are Cal and Gillian, Cal and Emily, Gillian and Emily, Ria and Cal, Eli and Gillian and Ria and Eli. Since the interest was in the characters and their relationships I tried to make each of their interactions really fit who they were as people and what they were to each other while still letting their individual personalities shine through.

As a pleasant little spiff, while I was writing this my recipient unexpectedly recced my sole extant Lie to Me fic over at crack_van! LOL How cool is that?

The most pleasant part of Yuletide this year was getting a Miracles fic written for me by my wonderful friend deejay! The Great Scot is awesome Alva and Paul interaction with added whumpage! (For once, not Paul!) It's a delight even if you don't know the fandom - the ramblings of

:) I really liked this and I hope I reviewed it on AO3 but I read it when the servers were very slow.

It was a great characterization of all of them <3 and very Cal the whole way through!
