Yes, Dún Laoghaire is a real place in Ireland, situated just far enough out of the way from Dublin to suit my tale.

I knew ages ago before I wrote Eire that I wanted to come up with an origin story for Michael and Fiona. Sadly I stopped watching the show so I have no idea if I've been jossed or not, but I really do want to get back in it.

For now, I wanted to get one Burn Notice fic in for this year before it ended and continuing Eire seemed the best way to go, even if they are in flash length installments. At least they're fun while they last. ;-)
