Last night I spent an hour lying awake in bed in a mild panic, because there was a persistent ringing in my right ear. Not a terribly loud one, it didn't take much to drown it out, but it was there. Finally it faded, and it took me another hour or so to feel sufficiently unpanicked to sleep. So I'm very tired, underslept for sure

The Brown Sheep was ordered a looooong time ago. The reason they give that it hasn't come yet was that color was so popular they had to dye more. They told Jillian last week that they were going to send it second-day on Monday. Yeah.

The only reason the Kureyon arrived is Noro wouldn't play along but since it was already spec'ed, Jillian bought it herself from a mail order yarn shop.

wow that's great about Philip. Violet is obsessed with scissors right now, except A) she cut her own hair recently, and B) she likes to take 1 small piece of construction paper and cut it to ant size bits, and then walk off and not clean any of it.

Apparently he finished stage 1 of the project, picked up the scissors and cut it out all by himself, then walked over and handed it to the teacher, saying "all done now." !!!
