Go, Pip, go!

His language seems to be starting to come along. Last week at school he spontaneously came up with his own sentence ("Go 'way, Edson") and has been starting to use phrases like "I want ball" appropriately. Just now I asked "Are you thirsty? Yay Pip!!!

And if he stays in preschool one more year, don't sweat it - Kieran just recently got kicked out of kindergarten for behavior issues and I'm left wishing I'd listened to him when he begged me to let him go back to preschool. Sometimes the little guys really do know what's best for them.

Yeah, there's one autistic kid in the district who did preschool & kindergarten in a special program at UW, spent a year in normal first grade, and is now spending this year in special kindergarten again, becuase the other kids taught him so much bad behavior that he lost a lot of ground. :-(
