I went to see Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy yesterday. Although it had its moments, it was a bit disappointing - which of course is related as much to my expectations as to the movie itself. But I loved Marvin! Alan Rickman has the perfect voice for him surely? ;) Love reading your posts em, I must endeavour to keep up with them!

Hi Karen! Yeah, Alan Rickman was perfect for the role - actually I think most of the actors/voices were great, just the script was lacking.

I would have been very surprised had dirtycamel enjoyed it.

Are you expecting the next Star Wars to be as dodgy as the last two? I can't tell - I think they do great trailers which can be deceiving. At least there shouldn't be any opportunities for dodgy disney-type characters in this one!

Sorry about that :) In the past, on average, talisen has been inclined to like movies more than me and you have been inclined to dislike them more!

Not as good as the book, but still very watchable (having seen it twice).

The reviews for Star Wars 3 are surprisingly glowing.

Yeah, I've noticed the good reviews and am raising my hopes based on the apparently more serious nature of this episode (although the original three balanced humour and epic stuff so I'm not why I want this one to be more serious).
