I was transferring information from my 2018 agenda to my 2019 agenda. I'm talking paper agenda. That's right. I'm old school. Or just plain old. Whatever. Each January I pencil in the upcoming year's birthdays, and prompts for when I need to schedule dental, gynecological and other routine exams.

I understand how you're feeling about your ablation. It truly will be just fine, but I love your impulse to tell JM how beautiful he's made your life in the now. You two are lovely together. <3

Maybe your heart is especially healthy right now, ready for the procedure and will pull through with flying colors, because you have fed it with love.

Best wishes for your procedure. I'm sure you'll come out on the other side much healthier for it. And kudos for sharing how you feel with JM. People don't express their love enough, and they really should.

This has been such a lovely story to follow, I am so happy you have real, meaningful love in your life. I do have a question, if I may be so bold as to ask it, but what happened to the hot, young guy you went dancing with several times?

Oh, sweet Guilhem. Well, when I changed my relationship status on FB, both Brian and Guilhem got the message. Brian texted me to say how happy he was for me (and that he wants the first dance at the wedding). I never had to have any sort of discussion with Guilhem; he just sort of drifted off into the horizon. I still reflect on my time with him as something so very sweet and life-giving. Thanking the universe for that whole interlude, it was really good for me.
