Christmas Eve Dinner [Rec Room - Enterprise, Kirks and McCoys]
Christmas on a starship, I never thought it would come to this. Em thought as she adjusted a few decorations on the small replicated Christmas tree. Tinsel and a star topped the evergreen on the table. Her gifts were already wrapped in blue wrapping paper and had took several trips back and forth to get them ALL there and piled. She wrapped her arms around herself and looked up at the garlands that George had set up, punctuated by miniature stockings. Something like Christmas anyway...
A large table was set up with ten chairs. She had left enough room around for everyone to hopefully be comfortable. Or add more chairs should they find themselves with more guests. The tablecloth was dark blue and they had arranged white candles as the centerpiece. The galley was kind enough to help set up a buffet table with the normal dinner fare: roasted ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, steamed vegetables, with pies and a plate of chocolate cupcakes sitting at the end.
Satisfied that things looked as...Christmas as she could get it, she smoothed down her green dress and sat down to wait for the rest of the guests.
