Intendent is from Intendent (or Intendant either spelling) Kira in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She was from a mirror universe and did whatever she wanted, screw what other people think! And sometimes I wish I was a tad more like that. :)

Plus, I like saying intendent. And I love Star Trek. :P

When I was doing my undergrad, I noticed that my physiology textbook would give phonetic spellings for terms that I thought were ridiculously obvious. One day, I read sentence that talked about "blood plasma (plaz-MAH)" and for some reason the phonetic spelling cracked me up hardcore. So I changed my name on ICQ (OLD SCHOOL baby!) to plaz-MAH and my friends thought it was hilarious. And since plazmah was my username on Fandom Wank, I thought I'd make them both the same. :)
