Oh, this was sweet and wonderful! Very well-characterized; I think Bo is tricky with that carefree aimlessness that isn't exactly happy, and of course getting the right balance of compassion and grump for McCoy takes practice but you've done it beautifully here.

omg Bones, putting families back together since forever, endlessly running into blue-eyed boys with daddy issues. They're both so fantastic here, Bo just needing a little kick in the ass and Bones being a great person to give it to him in the most useful and least hurtful way, and in turn being distracted from his worry by Bo's drama. And then the little turning him down for something he's not sure he has but even Bo can see. Fantastic.
