I've been thinking of Dan lately. I rented the season one DVD for a show called "Dexter", about a serial killer who works for the police department so he can find other serial killers to kill. It is a comedy.
Anyway, one of the actors for season one was named Christian Camargo, who I'd not heard of before. But I was amazed at how much he looked like a slightly older Dan Balan.
Dude, I know. it's just...fascinating(?) I don't know...there are no words. He's still alive, being as Dan-like as ever, far as I can tell :P
I've heard of Dexter, heard it is most excellently awesome, but am so behind on TV right now, I can just not afford to add something new to my list right now, but I will be adding it to my "future to-watch" list, I think.
I looked him up on imdb, there is a resemblance, I think, particularly around the eyes...they have similar eyebrows? or something? Maybe it's a kind of ethnicity thing-is Camargo Italian? Pretty close geographically to Moldova, right?
Anyway, I was glad to know he was still alive, and justr as crazy as ever ;P
I know! I heard Dan was in America, doing the rockstar thing, hooked up with that stupid numa kid as well, apparently, but not really been following it at all. Then I get this e-mail from the Dan Balan fanclub, about the new video being up on youtube, so I decided to check it out. Kind of hilarious, but I still love Dan, I can't quite figure out why. His accent still gets me...among other things ;)
Indeed, I do still live, update extremely sporadically, keepin pretty stealth about it too :P
Working now, for Canon (printers, cameras etc, not the fitness centrem as my cousin thought!) just a temp job, til Dec. Got resits to do before my final year of Uni next September. Well, thems the plans, for now.
Oh yeah, and the small matter of a double triple wedding in August, in Pakistan, Inshallah (mine, my sister, and our cousin)
How are you? Where are you now, still up North of the border? And hows G? ^_^

Yeah, we're in Ireland now. Just moved here actually on account of hubby's job. Since he's a contractor, he goes where the jobs are...and right now, the UK is NOT GOOD for IT contractors at all. So yeah. It's....interesting. Very slow tho, nothing gets done here @.@
Anyways, I'll readd you to my flist since I know you live...sort of *grins* and you can see what I've been up to. =)
