New computer squealing

So, remember how, a while back, I posted that I was contemplating buying a new computer?  And then I was asking whether it was worth it to pay an extra $450 for, essentially, a 15-inch screen rather than a 13-inch screen?  And then I never said anything more about it because I am just the sort of person who leaves all her LJ friends hanging instead

Awww, congrats!

A word of warning though: beware of leaving the laptop open alone with the cat. I discovered that certain cats *cough* Gremlin *cough* like to strop their claws on the keypad.

Fortunately, my well-behaved (in comparison) cat just likes walking on the trackpad. And occasionally sits on the keyboard, so that when I come back to an email I was typing it's filled with lots of fsjflsh;weupaldv.

Friday is beautiful too! (Especially when playing Blu-Ray discs on the huge widescreen monitor.)

Congratulations on making the switch. I switched back in November and am loving my new 15" MacBook Pro.
