I find it really hard to believe that the majority of dairy farms treat the animals that make them their money like crap. Not all dairy farms are rows and rows of cows with uniformed workers. Dairy famrs used to be family owned and operated, and the milk was sold by that farm. Now, those dairy farms are family owned and operated, and ship the milk to a company. Of coruse there are inhumane farms. But I stand by my opinion that there are more humane thatn inhumane.

have you seen the huge facotory farms hm? where they dont have the TIME to treat the animals right? what the heck is wrong with you guys, people need to see the videos im seeing. i am a vegetarian because the cruelty of animals is growing and im not going to have any part in it. it is my decision, and something i feel good about doing. so support it or don't. i dont have time to argue.

i did my junior research paper on animal cruelty. it was 10 pages long and i mentioned the cruelty calves receive. it's true that they are locked in cages so they cannot move. it keeps their flesh tender by not allowing them to build muscle. the people also starve the calves of iron to keep their flesh soft, but the calves crave it so bad that they resort to trying to drink their own urine which contains iron. i've been a vegetarian for 4 years now and i'll never go back to eating meat.

You should take a step back and look at yourself. With you flaunting your vegetarianism so much, it seems as if you're just trying way too hard to impress everyone. I mean, hey, let's tell absolutely everyone that you're just as cool as Chris Walla.

Also, your profile cites McDonald's as an interest. Doesn't McDonald's slaughter millions of animals yearly?

aw, it's cute and all that you still read my journal, but I have every right to flaunt my vegetarianism. Chris Walla is an inspiration to me, and why do you care so much? it's sad how I'm having to reply to this entry and feud that ended weeks ago. McDonalds is an interest, because my sister works there. I didn't say I ate meat from McDonalds, now did I? haha. honestly can't you get a life.

Well, if a animal grew up on it's own and died of natural causes, would you eat it? I'm not debating animal cruelty, I'm debating why stop eating meat alltogether. The company that Wendys gets their meat from certifies that their animals are treated well and slaughtered humanely. (I know that last sentence sounds messed up)
