On the latest LJ changes and the inevitable flouncing

Pretty much the only reason I haven't moved to Dreamwidth entirely is that all of y'all are still here. But you can find me under the same username over there if/when you decide to switch over.

So anyway, where do I get that software/app/thing that lets you post to both places at once?

You do know you can just post to DW, and provided you set it up, it'll echo the post [crosspost] the entry to LJ?

Oh yeah, and adding you to my list over there..

No software, Dreamwidth does it for you. You can set it up (for your Dreamwidth) here: http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/settings/?cat=othersites

So I should get in the habit of posting to DW instead of LJ.

Now to find a client! Apparently Semagic (which I've been using forever) will post to DW, but with limitations...

I would probably move over to Dreamwidth, but I've got an almost ten-year archive here, and I don't think I would feel motivated at all if I felt like I were starting over again. Or maybe I'd feel more motivated. I honestly don't know.

Dreamwidth has a thingy that will import all your LJ entries. It's super easy to use, too.
