Good grief, Wonderfalls is addictive. I picked it up last Friday, started watching it yesterday, and only have four episodes left to watch. So good! I don't know why I waited so long to get it.

I'm sorry Camcam - I really will finish Greg the Bunny one day soon! I promise! (You'd think I'd be all over the Seth Green - or maybe that's why it's ( Read more... )

You can't stop after Lying Pig! The best episode of the series comes right afterwards. (Bryan Fuller and I discussed this, and we decided the top three are Cocktail Bunny, Crime Dog and Caged Bird. His least favorite episode by far is the one he and Tim Minear wrote and Todd Holland directed -- Barrel Bear -- but I like that one. My least favorite is Totem Mole, followed by Safety Canary, though I love every single episode of that show.)

No, I couldn't stop after Lying Pig - I stayed up to watch the next one. And I've just now finished the series. There are moments that remind me a lot of Dead Like Me, which is the first Bryan Fuller show I've watched (and now really need to get the second season).

Cocktail Bunny was great, and I really like the other two episodes you mentioned, too. I also liked Barrel Bear; it's funny that Bryan Fuller liked that one the least.

I really like the character of Aaron. I was all set to dislike him in the first episode because he comes off as a snob, but he really grew on me.

They all hate Barrel Bear, which I find really funny, because it's like the "all-star" episode, right, with the three exec. producers (two of them creators!) working on it. I think it had a lot of excellent lines, though I did find Mahandra, especially, a little out of character (which I can, however, blame on her being drunk).

I love that series so much.

Dead Like Me is also great, although Bryan left near the beginning of season one (MGM was really awful to him), and season two sort of declined in quality. Still watchable, of course.

I didn't realize Bryan left near the beginning of season one of DLM (that's terrible about MGM). That's too bad that it's declined this past season. I really like the first one, so I was really looking forward to the second season, which I'll watch anyway, I'm sure.

Yeah, I thought Mahandra was out of character that episode, too, which I also blamed on her being drunk. I was surprised when Rue McLanahan (or however you spell her name) showed up in the credits (mainly because I had no idea she was still doing any acting). She was entertaining, but I always still see Blanche from the Golden Girls in whatever she does.

It is a really great series. I'm looking forward to making my friends watch it. :)
