I have decided that my next visit (or five) to the video store will be all surf movies. My list so far is:

Riding Giants
Billabong Odyssey
Step Into Liquid
Blue Horizon
The Endless Summer
The Endless Summer II

Any other suggestions?

Surf ninjas? It's got Rob Schiener in it. It's horrible, but it's got surfing...and ninjas

Oh my god! That's beautiful! THANK YOU! (All the others on my list are documentaries, so I'm going to need something mindless, and that looks perfect! YAY!)

Psycho Beach Party! Love it! I think Scott owns it, so it's all good.

I will NOT watch Back to the Beach, or whatever it was called (it was the "we're old, and our kids are the age we were in the old movies" with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, or whoever); it was TERRIBLE. Although, the Jamaican Ska dance segment was amusing.

RIGHT. psycho beach party. that one. it was fabulous.

back to teh beach was one of about a half dozen of those movies. i think in one or two of them they only seemed to be about 30.

speaking of movies, have you ever tried the unlimited movie pass at the video store on the north side of st. clair west of yonge? i think it's called deer park video? i guess i could go inside to get the details and check out the movies, but i thought you might have tried it.

i don't have any surf movie recommendations but i like girls in bikinis and wet suits...

Hee! Who wouldn't? ;)

No, I haven't tried it - I've thought about it, though. I think it's $30/month or something.

My surfing co-worker says he hopes you plan to surf after watching all of those!

I'm sure I really will want to. I don't know how, though. I may have to be content with skateboarding.
