General fun fact; I giggled myself silly as I read this and "Your Are The Moon" by The Hush Sound and "Howl" by Florence + The Machine came on. Best timing ever.

OH MY GOD HOWL. Okay, true fact: I legitimately listened to that song on repeat for, like, a week when I was first brainstorming this piece. And still, if I want to write but can't quite get into the mood for this fic, I just put on Howl and BOOM. Insta-mood. (That is why the title is taken from the song!) So it makes me a very happy panda that you read this fic and listened to that song at the same time. :D I've never heard of the other one, though! I shall have to download it!

Ooooh, I loved that we got a perspective from Blaine! Poor guy -- he didn't have a "Kurt" there to protect his parents. I'm glad you included that, if only to mirror the situation we already have with Kurt and Finn, and maybe emphasize how lucky the latter two were to be able to avoid the same situation. If Kurt had come home five minutes earlier -- I can only imagine the kind of guilt Finn would feel at the very idea of that possibility, even though everything would up working out.

I think my favorite part of this chapter was the bit with the Cohen Chang-Chang's at the end, because they are just too impossibly cute! Tina's excitement over mating!sex! Mike's embarrassment! hahaha, love it! :D Thank you for posting this chapter! I'm super excited for more!

But also HIIIIIIIII HIIIII! :D I'm so glad that you enjoyed the Blaine perspective! It became really necessary as the story developed, because there was backstory and information I needed to convey that it just wouldn't be as powerful to see from Kurt's perspective. And yes, he really is a poor little guy. :( I'm really pleased that this served to emphasize how incredibly lucky Finn and Kurt were, because that could have gone so very wrong. So glad it worked for you!

And ahahaha, the Cohen-Chang-Changs were SO MUCH FUN to write. I love them in the show so much. :D :D :D Glad it was amusing, and a bit of a more light-hearted pick-me-up. <3

Wow, wow, wow. I think I am in love with that scene with Puck and Blaine. Just, the way he described first meeting Kurt was flawlessly IC for him, you know? Outstanding job as usual, really, the BEST way to wake up before a seven hour shift. :)
