You guys. This happens all the time.
I'll be minding my own business, writing fic, and I'll start re-examining the plot. "Ooh!" I think, "a scene like this would totally work there! I'll just bang it off, it'll only take me twenty minutes or so."

Unless, of course, this is somehow related to cutting your hand on a loaf of bread. How does that even work? Are you alright? I mean, I would assume so because you are on LJ, but I would also assume that one could not cut oneself on a loaf of bread, so...
