I just--I can't--WHAT ARE WORDS? Oh my GOD that was amazing. Mind you, I've been on Team vampire!Blaine for a while now, but that was so good and perfect and I just, I can't, there are no words, have gifs instead:
Ahhhhhh, those gifs!!! :O :O :O What a wonderful selection! I'm totally snagging some! (Also, oh my gosh, the last one. <3 Thank you so much!) I'm so glad to make you feel all the things, bb, I cannot even say. <3
I know that a lot of people have been anticipating the content of this chapter for a long time, and I admit it was a bit nerve-wracking to post for that reason. (Everyone had so many theories!) But I'm glad you were excited to see this happen, and that it lived up to your expectations. Thank you so much!!
And to answer your question: Blaine's turning scene. Oh. My. God. I was literally stuck on that scene for almost two weeks, fucking hell. The rest of the chapter flew out of me in a few days, but that section was just... ahhhhhh. It had been so built-up, and it was tricky finding the right way to convey everything. AND KURT AND BLAINE KEPT REACTING DIFFERENTLY TO EACH OTHER THAN I THOUGHT THEY WOULD OMG. It was troublesome. But thank you SO MUCH -- I'm so happy you felt it flowed well, and thank you for reading and

I'm curious (as another writer-type.. though I really haven't in a while) which character reactions changed on you? I only ask because that idea that a character dictates what happens, not necessarily the author, has always been interesting to me.
Damn it. How is it that every time I want to comment on this fic, work hits me like a freight train? Not okay, work, not okay.
I have SUCH a thing for unreliable narrators and dubious morality, this fic (actually, most of your master list) lights up like a Christmas tree.
ARGH I literally have to get back to my project in five minutes, so I LOVE THIS CHAPTER and the little glimpse into Kurt unbeating heart and Blaine's new personality (god, what I love the most about him is gone but I can't stop reading HELP) and they are terrifying and beautiful together.
I HAVE TOO MANY FEELINGS AND NOT.ENOUGH.TIME. but I promise, promise I will write a full essay-length comment on the last chapter, whenever that is. PROMISE.
-P.
P.S. RL is such a PROBLEM. Why do we even live outside of the Internet?
Aha, oh my goodness, you poor soul!! I made you start reading this and you're already, akjdhsakdjhakjshdkjashd, you poor thing. *hug* Well, thank you so very much for taking time to read and leave a little comment!! It makes me happy beyond believe that you're enjoying it so much, and I hope that real life calms down for you soon!
I have SUCH a thing for unreliable narrators and dubious morality <--- OH MY GOD THIS FIC MUST BE HEAVEN FOR YOU. O_O Actually, thank you so much for mentioning the unreliable narration in this fic; Blaine is honestly the most unreliable narrator I've ever written, and I have a persistent fear that people won't recognize that. It makes me beyond happy that you highlighted that aspect, and that you enjoy it so much! Unreliable narrators are just ridiculously interesting to write, aha. And dubious morality, oh man. THIS FIC HAS LOTS OF THAT.
I'm so, so glad that you're enjoying the shift in characterization, and thank you so much for leaving a note to let me know. <3 SO stoked for your eventual big comment

Oh, thank you so very much. <3 <3 I'm pleased beyond belief that you love vampire!Blaine, even after the starkness of the perspective switch. And Kurt is definitely very, very proud indeed.
Oh, lovely. :( *hug hug hug* I'm so sorry for the tears, but I'm honestly overwhelmed in the best way that Part One affected you so strongly. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for telling me that. I truly appreciate it.
There are still a few things to wrap up, I think. But it is very much coming to a close.
